Applications are invited from eligible candidates to the 2024/2025 Academic year for the above degree programmes at the University of Kelaniya.
All candidates are expected to apply for the above courses as per the information given in the handbook on Admission for University Bachelor's Degree Courses in Sri Lanka issued by the University Grants Commission. Accordingly, the candidates who had submitted the applications to the University Grants Commission should display high proficiency by facing the above aptitude tests. Only the candidates who have fulfilled the undermentioned qualifications may apply.
Candidates should apply for the respective aptitude test stated above in addition to the online application submitted to the UGC and should appear for the examination. This is compulsory.
Should have obtained at least a simple (S) pass in any three subjects under any subject stream at the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination in the year 2024.
The Aptitude Test will consist of (a) Physical Fitness Assessment (b) Sports Achievements Evaluation.
Physical Fitness Assessment: The test will evaluate candidates’ physical fitness qualities.
Sports Achievements Evaluation: Candidates’ sports achievements at International, National, Provincial, District and Zonal levels will be evaluated.
(1) For Manual/bank teller Users
Candidates who wish to apply should credit Rs. 1,800/- to Account No. 055-1001-40009867 maintained at the Kelaniya Branch of People's Bank through any Peoples Bank Branch in Sri Lanka and having the Soft Copy / Scan Image of the receipt in hand should apply via (aptitudetest.kln.ac.lk) via online. When applying, it is important to use an active email address. A specimen as to how the receipt should be filled is shown below.
(2) For (CDM) Cash Deposit Machine Users
Please mention Name, National ID Number and "Sports Science" examination on the receipt/narration.
(3) Online payments (Credit cards / Debit cards)
Payments can be made through the above methods also, for the above account number and Narration "Sports Science" and NIC.
The bank receipt /CDM/online transfer receipt should be submitted to the counter in front of the Examination Centre. If you fail to do so, you may be able to sit the exam, but results will not be released.
Admission cards for eligible candidates will be issued online only via the website aptitudetest.kln.ac.lk. No admission cards will be sent by post.
Candidates are advised to visit the website regularly for updates and to download their admission cards once available.
