UoK Aptitude Test 2025 – FAQ

1. Is there a language requirement for the Sports Science Aptitude Test? ක්‍රීඩා විද්‍යා යෝග්‍යතා පරීක්ෂණය සඳහා භාෂා අවශ්‍යතාවයක් තිබේද?

• No. There is no language barrier. The test is open to Sinhala, Tamil, and English medium students. නැත. භාෂා බාධකයක් නොමැත. විභාගය සිංහල, දෙමළ සහ ඉංග්‍රීසි මාධ්‍ය සිසුන් සඳහා විවෘතය.

2. Are there written tests for Sports Science or Film and Television? ක්‍රීඩා විද්‍යාව හෝ චිත්‍රපට හා රූපවාහිනිය සඳහා ලිඛිත පරීක්ෂණ තිබේද?

• No. The Sports Science aptitude test includes only a physical fitness test and an interview. There is no written component.නැත. ක්‍රීඩා විද්‍යා යෝග්‍යතා පරීක්ෂණයට ඇතුළත් වන්නේ ශාරීරික යෝග්‍යතා පරීක්ෂණයක් සහ සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණයක් පමණි. ලිඛිත අංගයක් නොමැත.

• Yes. Film and Television. There is a written test. ඔව්. චිත්‍රපට සහ රූපවාහිනිය. ලිඛිත පරීක්ෂණයක් තියෙනවා.

3. Can I apply to more than one university's aptitude test for the same subject? එකම විෂය සඳහා විශ්වවිද්‍යාල කිහිපයක යෝග්‍යතා පරීක්ෂණ සඳහා අයදුම් කළ හැකිද?

You should apply to only one university's aptitude test per subject (e.g., Sports Science). Participating in multiple practical tests for the same course at different universities is not allowed for the same university degree programme. එක් විෂයයකට එක් විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයක යෝග්‍යතා පරීක්ෂණයකට පමණක් අයදුම් කළ යුතු බැවින් (උදා: ක්‍රීඩා විද්‍යාව) මට විශ්ව විද්‍යාල එකකට වඩා යෝග්‍යතා පරීක්ෂණ සඳහා අයදුම් කළ හැකිද? එකම විශ්ව විද්‍යාල උපාධි වැඩසටහන සඳහා විවිධ විශ්ව විද්‍යාලවල එකම පාඨමාලාව සඳහා බහු ප්‍රායෝගික පරීක්ෂණවලට සහභාගී වීමට අවසර නැත.

4. Do I need to pay separately for each aptitude test? එක් එක් යෝග්‍යතා පරීක්ෂණය සඳහා මා වෙන වෙනම ගෙවිය යුතුද?

Yes. Each aptitude test requires a separate payment (Rs. 1800). ඔව්. සෑම යෝග්‍යතා පරීක්ෂණයකටම වෙනම ගෙවීමක් අවශ්‍ය වේ (රු. 1800).

A clear photo of the receipt is acceptable. There's no need to scan or convert to PDF as long as it's clearly visible. රිසිට්පතේ පැහැදිලි ඡායාරූපයක් පිළිගත හැකිය. එය පැහැදිලිව පෙනෙන තාක් කල් ස්කෑන් කිරීමට හෝ PDF බවට පරිවර්තනය කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය නොවේ.

6. What if I write the wrong degree on the receipt? මම රිසිට් එකේ වැරදි උපාධියක් ලිව්වොත්?

It’s important to mention the correct degree name (e.g., “Sports Science”) on the payment reason. Mistakes may affect your application. ගෙවීම් හේතුවෙහි නිවැරදි උපාධි නාමය (උදා: “ක්‍රීඩා විද්‍යාව”) සඳහන් කිරීම වැදගත් වේ. වැරදි ඔබගේ අයදුම්පතට බලපෑ හැකිය.

7. How do I find out which aptitude tests are required for which universities? කුමන විශ්වවිද්‍යාල සඳහා අවශ්‍ය යෝග්‍යතා පරීක්ෂණ මොනවාදැයි මා සොයා ගන්නේ කෙසේද?

8. Is English Literature required for Film and Television Studies? චිත්‍රපට හා රූපවාහිනී අධ්‍යයනය සඳහා ඉංග්‍රීසි සාහිත්‍යය අවශ්‍යද?

No. You are expected to have a background in A/L English, but Sinhala medium is the medium to study. නැහැ. ඔබට උසස් පෙළ ඉංග්‍රීසි පසුබිමක් තිබිය යුතුයි, නමුත් ඉගෙනීම මාධ්‍යය සිංහල මාධ්‍යයයි.

9. What documents do I need when applying?

10. Is it possible to switch from one aptitude test (e.g., Kelaniya) to another (e.g., Sabaragamuwa) later?

No. Once you pay and apply for one, it's considered final. Choose wisely before submitting.
